Light snow falling at 7:15 AM. Forecast was for as much as 8″, but I think the worst is over.
Heavy steady wet snow and gusty winds seemed ominous for things to come last night. Snow and wind has tapered-off leaving about a 3″ blanket of heavy snow. We still could get 1-3 more inches by late afternoon, but the mid-30 temps could see a quick demise of the wintry mix.
Be sure to go to check out the new webcam located on our upper deck on the west side of the lake pointing east. Click on “Webcams” tab. Another cam is planned to replace the one on the east side at Kelly Lake’s Dave Fickenscher’s.
Last night’s ominous look:
Same thing only more of it this AM. Strong winds 31-degrees. Only a couple of inches so far, but the blowing and wet snow makes for treacherous driving.Kind of mesmerizing watching the snow!
